Resumption of Cricket Relationship and Concerns of Indian Players

According to Indian Media, in response to efforts for resumption of cricket matches between Pakistan and India some senior Indian players have shown their concerns regarding tour to Pakistan.

Infact cricket diplomacy is a matter of importance in promoting positive improvement in relationship between the two countries. Therefore, a very careful master plan is required. The existing prevailed worst security situation in Pakistan is not suitable for starting such activities. Even, when, Pakistan’s own ministers and high profile individuals are not safe in presence of elite security guards, how can we satisfy foreigner on security measures. After the disaster attacks on Sri Lankan players in Lahore, Indian players have rights to show concern on security issues. Therefore, both the government should think regarding other places. Yes, India can host the tour but the attitude of a large part of Indian media is negative regarding confidence building measures. Because in case of good relationship between the two countries, these channel will be unable to add some sensation to their programmes which is basic element in promotion of the viewership of the channels in India. The next possible place could be a neutral Venue. And looking at the past experiences, no place is better the UAE as neutral venue.

Another important thing is to educate the players of both countries regarding the importance of these matches. Player should have to maintain good gesture on the field, and should not adopt emotional method of celebrations.
