Pakistan Domestic Champion Participation in Champions League

"The Working Committee decided to recommend to the Champions League (CL) Governing Council to consider inviting the domestic T20 Champions of Pakistan to participate in the Champions League,"  (Statement from BCCI)
After media reports that the rating of IPL is going down day by day this type of news was expected. This is now compulsion for BCCI to include players and teams from Pakistan to league like IPL and Champion League for maintaining healthy competition so that they can keep these league alive commercially.
In the next edition of IPL  the participation of Pakistani players is also expected. And finally it will lead to the resumption of cricket ties between the two countries.

As the name suggests, the game is organized by ICC (International Cricket Council), the governing body of cricket in the world. The inaugural tournament of the ICC T20 World Cup was held in the year 2007, in South Africa.

It is the executive committee of International Cricket Council (ICC) that votes on the bids, selecting the host country. It had been decided that the first two tournaments will be held in South Africa and England, since they had opted the T20 format in the earliest stages only.
