Cricket in Afghanistan
A single ODI between Pakistan and Afghanistan has been played in Dubai. As expected, Pakistan won the match by 7 wickets convincingly. Despite results, this match was an historic movement for Afghans. Being neighbor to Pakistan Afghans are fond of cricket. Most of the Afghan youths grown in the refugees camps of Pakistan. In those days Imran, Wasim and Waqar where their heroes. In their childhood they used the ball prepared of old clothes for playing cricket. They used the wood of washing cloth (Sobarhay) as a bat. Most of the members of the current Afghan team played domestic cricket in Pakistan.
The love for sports of Afghans youths tells us that this is a peace loving nation. They love to play sports. They want to develop peaceful relationship with other Nations through sports. But unfortunately other nations have made Afghanistan a battlefield for their own interest.
This is the need of the time to provide regular chances to Afghan cricket team to play against big teams. ICC has to play a vital role in providing them chances. Because looking into the interest of Afghans in cricket, one can expect that cricket can play a vital role in bringing peace in Afghanistan. Afghanistan has suffered massively. Now these people should be given a chance to live peacefully.

Ultimate Causes of Indian Defeat in England
Indian cricket team has finished her tour of England without tasting flavor of win. Before this tour when Indian team was playing in West Indies, Indian fans were saying that this is a very boring series because Indian team is far more better then West Indies and therefore, the competition is boring. Every Indian was saying that the true competition will be in England. But then the entire world saw what happened in England. Infact there was no competition between theses two. England outclassed India in every format of cricket. Even Indian experts said that Indian players are playing like school boys. The question is why all it happened?
Unfair Support of BCCI for Indian Players
The main factor which effected Indian performance is the nonsense behavior of BCCI. Unfair support of BCCI for Indian players made Indian players unserious during performance. Despite making themselves perfect in every field, these players realized that they can get positive results by pressurizing umpires as they did in West Indies. These players were now thinking that even when BCCI prevent ICC from complete use of UDRS in test matches single handed, who can dare to go against Indian interests. Therefore, the focus of Indian players was on unfair means despite performance.
Lack of Interest
The approach of Indian players was very ordinary. It was looked like the players are just meeting the formalities to come to the crease and then return to dressing room. Any player was not interesting to stay on the crease. The reason is quite visible. These players are earning in millions by playing IPL for T20 Matches. Now playing test matches for less money is just fatigue for these players.
Conclusion
Before the world cup 2010 a weak team of Pakistan which was under pressure because of so many controversies, managed to defeat England in England in a Test match and two ODIs matches. It means that England is not unbeatable in England but professional approach is required. But strong Indian team even not won any single match in any format. It means that there is lack of professional approach in the performance of Indian players for different reasons. BCCI should focus on the betterment of their team performance despite showing their power in useless matters. BCCI has to support measures like complete use of UDRS in every format of cricket for the betterment of cricket. Now BCCI has to rethink regarding it behavior, they should understand that they cannot pressurize umpires in every match, so the opposition of UDRS is useless furthermore. They should stop their player by using long tong after every controversy. BCCI has to made players to concentrate on performance rather then concentrating on controversial things.

Appointment of Ijaz Ahmed as Bating Coach
PCB has appointed Ijaz Ahmed as batting consultant / batting coach for the tour of Zimbabwe. He has performed the same duties in recent past but was failed to provide positive results. Experts are agreed that Ijaz Ahmed’s own technique of batting is not correct. This is a serious question that if his own technique is not correct, how he can correct the youngsters. Here another question arise that, is there no other Pakistani former player to be appointed as Coach. What has happened to Inzamam, Basit Ali, Asif Mujtabah and other legends like Saeed Anwer and Javed Miadad. We can found the answer in one of the interview of Shahid Afridi which he recorded for a TV Channel. He said that Waqar Younis became against me because I suggested the name of Javed Miadad as Batting Coach.
Infact in Pakistan every one wants authority. Every politician, every officer and even every supper star wants authority instead of only performing his duties. The only reason because of PCB is not appointing a capable and responsible supper star as batting coach is that Waqar Younis does not want another support star to share authority with him. Even PCB chairman also not wants to appoint a person as batting coach who can interfere in team matters and can challenge his wishes. Otherwise there is no other hurdle in appointment of batting coach for the team.
To me the appointment of Ijaz Ahmed as batting coach will produce no positive results and it is just a tactic to reduce the pressure of cricket fans for appointment of batting coach.
