Contracts for Sending Indian Players to Play Abroad
This is now obvious fact that Indian players are not able to play on fast and bouncy wickets. The results of Australian and England series played by India are enough for understanding the problem. So, there is a need for Indian players to play cricket on bouncy and fast wickets when free from International commitments. BCCI can take steps for the purpose. BCCI can sign contracts with Australia, England and New Zealand to include Indian player to their domestic seasons. It would be better for Indian Cricket that some of their players play abroad instead of playing in IPL.
No Compromise on Performance
This is a fact that every great player has to retired one day. Infact this is the responsibility of players to announce their retirements themselves on right time. Looking at the present Indian squad, retirement of some Indian players is due. These great players have performed for years for India therefore now BCCI should say thank you to these players and should see off them with great respect and honour. Indian team needs fresh blood like Virat Kohli for bright future. Cricket is now a very fast game and only young blood can maintain pace with it. Raina is a good player but his weaknesses can affect the performance of the whole Indian team. Therefore, BCCI has to say “No compromise on Discipline”. No player is bigger the game. BCCI Non-seriousness
In recent days some of senior analysts showed their concerns on the attitude of BCCI in ICC meetings. To some extent these concern are facts. The focus of BCCI is not on cricket but on increasing its influence on cricket playing nations. Indian stance on UDRS is funny. All other cricket playing nations are in favour of UDRS with all its advantages and disadvantages but BCCI is totally opposing it. BCCI can demand ICC to take measure for more betterment of UDRS but totally rejecting this system is showing BCCI non-seriousness regarding cricket. BCCI influence on ICC for removal of Steve Buckner and Darrell Harper encouraged Indian players to think regarding their political and financial power. This encouragement led Indian players to feel themselves more superior then the others and they overlooked the facts that their superiority should only be on the field.
