After getting Sachin Tendulker on a beauty, Indian players launched a propaganda campaign against Saeed Ajmal Bowling action. ICC Chief Haroon Lorgat and Official Richardson have already told the media that there is no problem in Saeed Ajmal bowling action. Richardson clarified that before delivering the bowl the angle of arm was recorded 23.5 degrees but at the time of delivering it was recorded 8 degrees which is not faulty because ICC has given relaxation up to 15 degrees.
After this clear statement by ICC official there is no reason for criticizing Saeed Ajmal bowling action, but now some Indian ex players has started their baseless criticism. There may be two reasons behind this criticism. Number 1, that these Indian ex players are weaker then Saeed Ajmal in understanding English, therefore, they cannot understand the official statement of ICC. Number 2, these Indian ex players are busy in expanding their agenda of damaging Pakistan cricket more and more. After Lalit Moddy statement that BCCI has prevented IPL franchise from buying Pakistani players, one can understand that there must be BCCI support behind these players for damaging Pakistan cricket.
There is no doubt that Indians are great fans of cricket. They love cricket. But this is very unfortunate fact that their board (BCCI) is using this game as political tool. This is not good for their beloved game. If Indian people have true love for cricket then they should raise voice against the political attitude of BCCI and Indian government in cricket.
On one hand ICC is working on a plan to depoliticize the Cricket Boards of members country, but on the other hand it has permitted BCCI to use its political agenda against Pakistan freely. India is continuously refusing to play series against Pakistan for political reasons but ICC has never take positive action against this politicize attitude of India.
Even Australian and South African boards accompanied BCCI in throwing Pakistan from Champion League. If ICC not played its role to prevent BCCI from politicizing cricket, it would be very unfortunate for cricket in near future.
