Facebook - Hate Promoter

Sport is a tool which promotes people to people contact and promotes harmony and tolerance between nations. In sub-continent cricket is known as a big game. Two big nations Pakistan and India are famous for the sports of cricket. In the recent semi final of ICC world cup 2011 Pakistan and India were opponents. There was a need for promoting good positive thinking between two nations through this match, but from both sides some ill-advised people manipulate the pictures of the heroes of both countries negatively and spread these pictures through facebook. Wise people from both countries reported such activities to facebook management but they did not take any action and promote this attitude. Resultantly this attitude of facebook prevailed more hate between the people of both the countries. Besides publishing manipulated sexy pictures of the heroes ill-advised people also used dirty language regarding religion and nation of the both countries, but despite blocking such user, face book just watch the cruel game.

People says that facebook is a social website, but  to me this is a hate promoter between the people of India and Pakistan.

And now in 2011 this team loss again when there were 100% chanse of her wining because of cahsing a target of 222. On one stage South Africa was 100 for 2. But then the situation changed dramatically and this unfortunate team loss again. Players like Smith, Devilier and Jack Kales deserves the title of World Champion, but unfortuantly these player will remain away from this title. 

Semi Final – A Cool and Calm Plan for Pakistan

Pakistan will face India in the 2^nd Semi Final of ICC Word Cup 2011. It will be really a pressure game for Pakistan. So, therefore, Pakistan has to go with a very cool and calm plan into the ground. There is a need to analyze the situation before the game. Looking on the current team we will find three players who can perform in front of the huge support of Indian team. At number one is Shahid Khan Afridi. He has performed as opener in India against India in crucial matches. He has scored centuries in both Test and ODIs format in India against India. Though I am not in favour of any major change in the current Pakistani team at this crucial moment, but still I think that as opener Pakistan can utilize Shahid Afridi’s batting services more positively in this specific match. The reason is that he has the habit to perform well under pressure. If he succeeded in playing 10 overs as opener, he will really take away the match from India. At number two is Younis Khan. Younis Khan has also scored Centuries in India against India in both ODIs and Test format of cricket. He is also famous for facing pressure successfully. He should play at number 3. Kamran Akmal has also good record in India he should open with Shahid Afridi and Hafeez can replace Shahid Afridi at number 6. These changes can really produced positive results in batting. Shoaib Akhtar must play this game. His short pitch deliveries can pressurizes Indian batsmen who have the weakness of facing short and speedy delivery.

Besides these suggestions, every Pakistani player should take it as a game and should realize that Win and Defeat is part of the game.

1st Quarter Final ICC World Cup 2011 - Well Done Pakistan

 

Pakistan has defeated West Indies in first quarter final of ICC world cup 2011. West Indies win the toss and elected to bat first. The reason for that was, if they succeeded to score 250 plus runs, it will be difficult for Pakistan to chase it, because Pakistan is not comfortable in chasing the target. But professional approach of Pakistan cricket team change the situation in their favour completely from the beginning. A surprise package from Shahid Afridi in shape of Muhammad Hafeez sharing attack with Umer Gul really destroyed West Indies batting line up.  Only Chander Paul and Sarwan tried to stay on crease. But at the end of the West Indian inning they were only able to score 112 runs all out in 43 overs. Shahid Afridi led from the front once again as captain and took 4 wickets. Hafeez and Saeed Ajmal took 2 wickets each.

112 runs was an easy chase for a side like Pakistan. Resultantly Pakistan won the match by 10 wickets. Hafeez played good innings in batting also. Kamran also played a very confident inning.

Qualifying for the semi final of huge event like World cup is a big achievement. In group matches Pakistan has defeated teams like Sri Lanka and Australia. This is a very positive sign for Pakistan cricket. Because after spot fixing controversy Pakistani fans were really disappointed and most of the experts were thinking that Pakistan cricket is on decline. Some elements from ICC and big cricket boards were also supporting these circumstances. But Pakistani team acknowledged that they are still in the best 4 teams of the cricket world. Although Pakistan is two matches away from the trophy, but playing semi final is also good enough. Well Don Pakistan Cricket Team.

1996 Semi Final Controversy – What will happen if India Loss in 2011

In 1^st Semi Final of ICC World Cup 1996 between India and Sri Lanka a controversy came into existence. The oafish behavior of Indian spectators made match referee Clive Lloyd to award the match to Sri Lanka.  Because when Sri Lanka was on top and India was losing clearly with huge margin, Indian spectators showed their “real class” and started hitting stones, bottles and other hard materials to Sri Lankan players. This type of incident has never happened in the history of cricket before.

Now at the start of ICC world cup 2011 Indian Terrorist Bal Thakeray has already warn Pakistan to don’t play in India. So, therefore, question arise that should ICC organize ICC events in India where players of two important test playing countries like Sri Lanka and Pakistan are not safe in particular and other players in general if they are going to win the knock out matches. 

Australian Team - Barking Dogs Seldom Bite

In a group match between Pakistan and Australia, Ricky Ponting was clearly caught behind by wicketkeeper Kamran Akmal, but instead of going back to pavilion he wait for umpire decision. Surprisingly on field umpire Erasmus also support him and not declare him out. Therefore, Pakistan went for a review. Review showed that there was a clear visible edge. There was no reason for on field umpire to not declare him out. But may be Ponting was thinking that third umpire is also blind like field umpire that was only reason to stay their after such a big edge. But third umpire rightly declared him out. Mean while Brad Hidden adopted uncivilized behavior which is identity of Australian. He came towards Umer Akmal aggressively and spoke harshly. On this moment Younis Khan interfered and tried to cool down Brad Hidden but in response he pushed Younis Khan.  This is not the first time any Australian adopted such uncivilized behavior. Australian Captain Ricky Ponting has been punished almost 16 times before this incident. In recent world cup he broke a TV set. In Ashes series he went in a long confrontation with best umpire of ICC Aleem Dar on a decision.  

No doubt Australia is a very professional side. But in last few years this team is not performing well according to its reputation, therefore, the best way to get positive results is just hard work. Speaking harshly to umpires and players cannot help Australian. But at the moment Australian are alive in the news of controversies only.  So therefore, a quotation “Barking Dog Seldom Bites” suit on this time now-a-days.

ICC should also take notice of this behavior from Brad Hidden on the field. Especially his action to push Younis Khan is not acceptable. Yes he is “white” and ICC has the record to take action only against blacks, but enough is enough, he must be bring to justice this time because his behavior has damaged the image of cricket.

Is It Huge Event of ICC Cricket World Cup?

Is it cricket world cup? What cricket lovers expect in a huge event like world cup? As cricket fan I expect tough matches like played in world cup 1992. Where 9 test playing countries played a match against each team. This was a beautiful tournament. But after that successful world cup, I don’t know what happened to ICC, who inducted associated teams into a huge event like world cup. This step from ICC really decreased interest of this event in cricket fans. Because cricket is a purely technical game and every one cannot play it. This game requires comprehensive structure at country level. After that it requires experience of playing with master cricketers. But here ICC included those teams to this event who even not played any single international match before playing in world cup.  Resultantly one sided matches reduce the interest of cricket fans in this event. Even I personally feel that Triangular events at Sharja and Austral Asia cup at Sharja were more interesting than this world cup event.  

If ICC is sincere with the promotion of this game, she should organize tours for these associated teams in ICC future tours programme. This is only way to let them play with experience players. By this way these teams can gain experience day by day. And one day these teams will be able to play in a huge event like world cup. But the existing way of inducting these teams in this huge event is not good for the game and these teams.

ICC should realize technical differences between football and cricket.

Let Kamran Akmal Play his “OWN” Game

According to media reports Pakistan cricket team management in Sri Lanka has decided to give responsibilities of Wicketkeeping to Umer Akmal after disappointing performance by his elder brother wicketkeeper Kamran Akmal. The performance of Kamran Akmal is worst for last 6, 7 years. But the management selected him in team again and again. After recent inexcusable performance by him management should disclose the reasons of his selection in team when he is even not able to take a simple catch. Now Pakistan team has to face this embarrassing situation because of terrible thinking of PCB.

Umer Akmal is not a full time wicketkeeper. There is no guarantee that he will perform well behind the stumps. Currently he is an inform batsman. By putting extra pressure of Wicket keeping on him can really have an effect on his batting performance. Because if he also dropped some catches, naturally he will become under immense pressure. Therefore, let him play his own game.

Some media reports say that he has declared himself unfit for wicket keeping. This is his right to do so. Team management has no right to sacrifice him for their own mistakes. The stance of Umer Akmal is right.

Question should be asked from Chairman PCB Ijaz Butt, Chairman Selection Committee Mohsin Hassan Khan and Coach Waqar Younis regarding selection of Kamran Akmal for World Cup. The current captain was not appointed captain at the moment of selection of team for world cup.  One can also sense some conspiracy behind the mystery escape of Zulqarnain from Dubai. Because, in presence of Zulqarnian the selection chance of Kamran Akmal was almost nothing. Now when after all his bed performances in last few years Kamran Akmal is still in the team by the courtesy of PCB.

Shoaib Kamran Ki Petai Karkay Hero Bun Saktata

Shoaib Akhtar is famous for his aggression in dressing room with his colleague players and team management.

Muhammad Asif and Shoaib Akhtar controversy is famous. According to media reports in South Africa Shoaib Akhtar hammer Muhammad Asif when Asif disagree with some views of Shoaib Akhtar. Thanks to Shahid Afridi who save Asif at that moment.

Another controversy is also famous when Shoaib Akhtar push (Late) Bob Wolmer and in result he was send back home by the team management.

Besides the above controversies he has been awarded punishments so many times for his aggressive behavior. But   amazingly he just scream when Kamran Akmal dropped couple of catches on his bowling. People of Pakistan did not like his reaction in this manner.

Infact Shoaib Akhtar missed a very golden chance to become the hero of Pakistan’s cricket fan. Pakistan’s fans were desiring that he should take bat from Ross Tailyer and hammer Karman Akmal on the spot. By this way he was in the position to become a real hero of Pakistan cricket fans. Because the career of Shoiab Akhtar is also at end, and there was no problem for him from ICC. Because ICC was just able to ban him and after this world cup Shoaib has no chance to play for Pakistan again. But by retiring on this style to take Kamaran Akmal with himself, he was set to become the real Hero of Pakistan Cricket Fans.

Its look like Kamran Akmal has read the same “DUM” (Magic) on Shoiab Akhtar which he has read on PCB. No doubt that the “DUM” which Akmal has is a real magic.

Uncivilized Australian

International Cricket Council has reprimanded Ricky Ponting for his aggressive behavior after he damaged a TV set in the dressing room when he was dismissed for 28 runs against Zimbabwe in a World Cup 2011 Match. ICC says that Ponting has broken a section of its code which relates to "abuse of cricket equipment or clothing, ground equipment or fixtures and fittings during an international match."

I want to take you back to 2007 when in Pakistan tour to South Africa in February 2007 Shahid Afrida was suspended for 4 ODIs matches.  Match referee Chris Broad announced punishment of suspension after a hearing in Cape Town into the incident in which Shahid Afridi pushed his bat at a spectator in reaction (who was shouting on Shahid Afridi) after he was dismissed during the first one-day international against South Africa at Centurion. The charge was laid by (Especially) then International Cricket Council chief executive Malcolm Speed.

Shahid Arfidi even not hurt spectator, only push bat towards the spectator in reaction who was shouting on him. If this type of incident happened to any Australian player in Asia the whole team will leave Asian country for the reason that a spectator came so closed to an Australian player, but in the case of Shahid Afridi he was suspended and no measures were taken to prevent spectators to come so closed to the players by ICC. It shows double standards of then ICC CEO Malcolm Speed.

Infact both the above cases are related to damaging the spirit of cricket. But when there was an Asian especially Pakistan’s player he was ban for 4 matches and when now there is Australian he has been issued only a warning. What can one consider these double standards of ICC? But to me it is clearly a racial matter.  Neutral members should raise voice against this racialism in ICC.  They should discourage ICC in promoting racialism in ICC and should take measures to prevent induction of racial personalities like Darell Hair, Malcolm Speed and Chris Broad in ICC management.
