Mickey Arthur Wants Cheap Popularity

Former South African Cricket Coach Mickey Arthur has doubts about an ODI Match played between Pakistan and South Arica in 2007. He stated that all of a sudden 5 Pakistani Players out for just 20 runs.  Therefore, he is in doubt that Pakistani players were involved in match faxing in that match. If we apply the Mickey Arthur formula for the judgment of match fixing. Every team can be blame for match fixing. Then the recent allegation from Ijaz Butt on English players can be considered true. Because same was the case with English players, they loss the match from very strong position in the recent tour. Even when Waqar and Wasim were on top, they bowled out every team for very low score in last 10 overs and win the matches. Because at that time it was very difficult for batsman to face  swinging yorkers of Wasim and Waqar. After 1992 World Cup Pakistan bowled out 3 times South Africans in the last 10 overs on very low scores in Triangular series, Mickey can review these matches and then can comment, were these matches fixed by the South African. He can also watch the recording of several match played in the recent past. He will find several matches in which all of the sudden bating line collapse and a strong position holder team loss the matches. It has happened with every team. So Mr. Mickey don’t blame any team for just cheap popularity. Use your mind. Don’t forget Mr. Harshal Gibbs, Hansi, Shane Warne, Mark Waugh, Jadeja and Azhar Ud Din. All these players not belong to Pakistan. And if you are not sleeping comment on Suresh Raina issue also.

Defeat of Pakistan in T20 - Poor Selection

Combination of Pakistan Cricket team played T20 Match at UA on 26^th October was not pragmatic. Its look like Pakistan is going back instead of planning for future.  It is questionable that what type of talent Imran Farhat has, when he failed in test then selector give him chance in T20. He is a worst fielder and Pakistan has loss several matches because of his dropped catches. He  has  never perform extra ordinary. So many chances have been given to him but he failed to avail these chances. Then what are the criteria for selecting him. When Hafeez was there what was need to open from Imran Farhat. The worst thing in this match for Pakistan was the breaking of combination of young players which was formed after very bad situation in England. A young talented player Asad Shafiq was not playing.  Fawad Alam was not playing. Despite Misbah score 27 runs, but a young talented player instead of Misbah will be good choice for Pakistan keeping in mind planning for future. Asad Shafiq is looking good talented player than Imran Farhat. Former Cricketer Ilyas is support for Imran Farhat as he is Father in Law of Imran Farhat, but how much Mr. Ilyas will support him. Will he think for Pakistan also. The is a question mark for all supporters of undeserving players. 

Double Standards of ICC and International Media

A British News Paper disclosed the fact that there is a link between Indian player Suresh Raina and Bookies. CCTV Cameras recording shows that more than one time Raina was accompanied by a lady known for links with bookies. A report was sent by Sri Lankan Cricket Board to Indian Cricket Board.  But BCCI was showing that nothing has been happened.

Imagine if any Pakistani did so, what would be the response of ICC and International Media, especially Indian Media. So many questions arise here. Is ICC suspended Suresh Riana as ICC has done with Pakistani Players. If not, why? Only footages were evidence against Pakistani players. These types of evidence are available against Raina also. What is ICC waiting for? Has ICC established special task force to look the issues of Indian Cricket Board as ICC did in case of Pakistan. Where is Mr. Malcolm Speed, Darrell Hair, Ian Both and Nasir Hussain who had demanded ban on Pakistan cricket in the similar type of situation. Where is Mr. Anil Kumble who was in favor to stop the England and Pakistan ODIs series.  Would he like to comment on the Suresh Raina Issue. Haroon Lorgat also needs to clear his position. Because he was the one who reached England and then ban the Pakistani players.

The double standards of ICC and International Media are visible for every one. This situation is not helpful for the game. If some one is sincere with the game, he should treat every player and country equally. 

Malcolm Walter Speed – A Bias Former CEO of ICC

Malcolm Speed a former CEO of ICC will be called a biased CEO of ICC in the history of Cricket. It is because of his some biased actions towards the Asian countries. He always supported the unfair decision of the most controversial umpire of the history of ICC  "Darrel Hair". Both belong to Australia.  In case of  Mutain Muralidharan, in case of blaming Pakistan for ball tempering in England. He always supported Darrel Hair. Later on in both cases Darrell Hair declared wrong. Even Malcolm Speed saw Shahid Afrida out of ground for indiscipline in South Africa and punished him 3 matches ban. But on the wrong decisions of  Darrell Hair in the field he always remain blind.

Now in the recent spot fixing controversy of the Pakistani cricketers both demands for ban on Pakistan cricket. Darrel Hair and  Malcolm speed both want to ban Pakistan Cricket for spot fixing issue. These two forget the issue of Mark Waugh and Shane Warne. They forget the issue of Hansi and Gibbs. They forget the issue of Azhar Ud Din and Jadejay. Have they demanded ever for ban on Australia, South Africa and India. After all these players belong to India, Australia and South Africa.  They never did so, because  India have the charm of money and the other two are not Asian.

Both Darrell Hair and Malcolm Speed are not sincere with Cricket. They have their own biased agenda.

FAVORITISM – THE DILEMMA OF PAKISTAN CRICKET BOARD

Pakistan Cricket is facing very worst situation now-a-days. If we look at the recent history of Pakistan cricket team we will find that the favoritism is the most common problem which lay down Pakistan Cricket to the current situation. The story 

starts from former Prime Minister Mr. Nawaz Sharif, when on his desires President Rafiq Tarar appointed Mr. Mujeeb Ur Rehman as the Chairman of Pakistan Cricket Board. Mr. Mujeeb Ur Rehman was the brother of Mr. Saif Ur Rehman who was minister in Cabinet of Nawaz Sharif at that time. Although Mr. Mujeeb Rehman stay as chairman for very short time but this was the starting point of open favoritism in Pakistan Cricket.

After Nawaz Sharif when Mr. Pervez Musharraf came into power he appointed Mr. Lt General Tauqeer Zia as Chairman of Pakistan Cricket Board. When he enjoyed the seat and fed up, then Mr. Musharraf gave a chance to Mr. Naseem Ashraf. Naseem Ashraf used the PCB chairmanship seat for tourism purposes. He made it his duty to visit every place where Pakistan Cricket team visited. Both Mr. Tauqeer Zia and Mr. Nasim Ashraf were closed friends of Mr. Musharaf.

After Pervez Musharaf President Zardari Appointed Mr.  Ijaz Butt as Chairman of Pakistan Cricket Board. He is such non suitable man for the chairmanship that almost he has destroyed Pakistan cricket.  The people of Pakistan have become sick of him. 100% Pakistani wants to dismiss him from his seat. But he is relative of one of the best friend of President Zardar, Mr. Ahmed Mukhtar. Mr. Ahmed Mukhtar is Jailmate of Mr. Zardari, and the qualification of Ijaz Butt is that he is relative of Mr. Mukhtar.

Although before these above appointments little bit favoritism was existing in Pakistan for PCB Chairmanship but at that time administrative experience was essential also. But now no experience of administration is required, you just to be the relative of some high profile Minister.  This situation pushed Pakistan Cricket into embarrassing situation. The people of Pakistan who love cricket are helpless. President of Pakistan is not ready to address their concerns. Even the Committee for sports of Parliament also demanded to dismissed Mr. Ijaz Butt but Mr. Zardari is friend of friends, he we will even not take action, if ICC ban the Pakistan Cricket also. 

Australian Should Face the Situation Happily

Australian are famous for talking to opponent for distributing them during matches.  Shane Warn, Mark Waugh, Ricky Ponting and Gilchrist were specialist in disturbing the players during matches by slurring on them. At that time the Australian were on top. But then the opponent decided to counter this tactics from Australia. The first case was Harbajan and Symonds controversy. After this controversy the fall of Australian cricket started. At the time Australia is not on the top position in ranking. Now in recent tour of Australia to India Zaheer Khan and Ricky Ponting controversy came into existence. “As you sow, so shall you reap”, Australian team is passing through the atmosphere which is link to the quoted sentence. The opponents have learnt these slurring techniques from Australian players, and now they are using it on Australian players. So now Australian have to face the situation with patience.

Irresponsible Chief Executive of ICC Mr. Haroon Lorgat

            

     In recent tour of Pakistan Cricket Team to England so many unpleasant matters came into existence. The most adverse issue was the spot fixing issue of Pakistani players. In result some retired player and umpires who don’t like Pakistan for their own reason, express their views in such a manner that these views were not helpful for the game of cricket. Ian Botham and farmer English captain Nasir Hussain were the leading retired cricketers who tried to destroy Pakistan cricket. In umpire the most unlike person for the Asian country Mr. Darrell Hair express his views in negative way. Any action from ICC on advice of these players and umpire can defeat the game of cricket. These are the people who were not able to face the swinging Yorker of Waqar Younas and Wasim Akram, and for this reason they did not like Pakistan. Actual these people are not sincere with the game of cricket.

But in addition a very cheap statement was made by the ICC Chief Executive Haroon Lorgart. When the Daily News “The Sun” make some allegation on Pakistani Players in a match which Pakistan win, Mr. Lorgart stated the “It is look like that the allegation on players are true”. Mr. Lorgat made his statement on just News paper report, without any proof. Now in the recent meeting of ICC in Dubai ICC clear that match from match fixing. Now what is the responsibility of Mr. Lorgat. He has to apologies from the people of Pakistan for blaming them for a false report of News Paper. But I think he don’t have such moral courage to do so. ICC official have to take action against so irresponsible person. He is not competent to have the seat of ICC chief executive.
